Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the XPOST app, publishing service and website. XPOST is operated by Rewrite, CVR 43102990, Denmark (“Rewrite”, “we”, “us”). Contact us at tobiasroy94@gmail.com.

1. Using XPOST

By using XPOST, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. You must be at least 18 and have authority to use any account or act for any business you connect.

2. What the service does

XPOST helps you import original videos, prepare captions, choose destinations and submit videos to connected platforms through their official APIs. You authorize a submission by confirming it in the app. You are responsible for reviewing the accounts, content, audience declarations and visibility settings before confirming.

XPOST is currently a developer preview. Features may change or be unavailable. Platform reviews, quotas, account eligibility and processing may affect whether or when a post appears. We do not guarantee simultaneous or successful publication on every platform.

3. Your accounts and content

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Rewrite a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, copy, transmit and process the content solely as needed to provide XPOST and carry out your publishing instructions. You must hold the rights and permissions needed for your videos, music, captions, likenesses and other material on every destination platform.

You must keep your device and connected accounts secure. Do not use XPOST for unlawful content, infringement, spam, impersonation, unauthorized access, or attempts to bypass platform restrictions or service security.

4. Connected platforms

Instagram, TikTok and YouTube are separate services. Their terms, policies and account requirements apply to your use of them. XPOST is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube.

XPOST uses YouTube API Services. By using XPOST’s YouTube features, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. See also the Instagram Terms of Use and TikTok legal terms.

You can disconnect accounts in XPOST. Disconnecting cannot necessarily cancel a submission that a platform has already accepted. Delete published posts through the relevant platform.

5. Preview access and future subscriptions

The current developer preview has no enabled subscription purchases. If we introduce a paid plan, we will show the price, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms before you subscribe. These terms alone do not authorize any charge.

6. Availability and responsibility

We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but the preview is provided as available. Keep your own copies of original videos. We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, abuse, legal requirements or changes to platform access.

To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect losses or losses caused by third-party platform outages, rejected submissions or actions outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

7. Automatic file cleanup, retries and ending use

XPOST automatically deletes its server-held original video once every destination selected for that post confirms success. If a destination fails or its outcome is unconfirmed, the original is kept for up to seven days from upload to support destination-specific retries, then automatically deleted. Uploads not submitted as a publishing job are removed after 24 hours. Retries do not reset the retention period.

A retry targets only the affected platform; successful destinations are not repeated. Where a platform may already have accepted a post, XPOST checks or resumes the existing upload when possible instead of blindly creating another. Some uncertain outcomes require checking the platform manually. After the original expires, a new post requires importing the video again.

The app removes its own imported working copy when it next synchronizes the cleanup result, or when a submitted copy reaches its local seven-day limit during synchronization. Keep your own original: XPOST is not a video archive. Automatic cleanup does not remove your Photos library original, published platform posts, minimal publishing history or pre-existing backups.

You may stop using XPOST at any time, disconnect your accounts and delete local drafts. For requests concerning other server-held personal data, contact tobiasroy94@gmail.com. See our Privacy Policy for retention details and your rights.

8. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms as XPOST develops. The current version and effective date will be available at this URL. We will provide notice of material changes through the app or another appropriate means before they take effect where required.

These terms are governed by Danish law, subject to any mandatory protections and court rights available to you as a consumer in your country of residence.
